@Jay Carlson, Does that mean each site has to adopt HTML5 for the video components on their sites to work? If so, that doesn't do us much good in the short-term.

I found a blog post of a guy who received iPad parts in the mail (from whom, I have no idea). But he shows a picture of the frame where there is a space already made to perfectly fit a camera.

Sad that Apple felt compelled to wait until a future version to incorporate it.

just a note on the drive space: have you looked at flash drive prices lately? a quick google search found a 128gig SSD flash memory drive priced at a hefty $450. Apple wanted to keep the price down on these, so as not to scare people away. I'm sure they're working on cheaper, larger flash memory solutions, but right now it's just too dang expensive.

that's my take on the memory. and I'm just as disappointed as you on that aspect.

as for flash, (and maybe you've done this already...) read John Gruber's take on Adobe and Apple: http://daringfireball.net/2010/01/apple_adobe_flash

I tend to agree w/Apple on this one if this is indeed the reasoning behind flash. html5 should take care of most of the flash-based problems.

Not to sound contradictory, but we'll need to write a post soon about the amazing marketing implications and opportunities the iPad introduces.

Don't misunderstand; I fully expect millions of iPads to be sold. But I think many early adopters will regret their decision when version 2 comes out and they feel they have to upgrade.
